Smoking or jaundice. How is your liver? May be worth getting it checked. Also check the whites of your eyes. Have they altered at all?

Do you smoke? It could be the nicotene.

There is a possibility that you have Jaundice and you need to see a Dr as soon as possible, or perhaps you have touched some tanning lotion or a product like that which can turn your fingernails yellow.

You fingernail color tell alot about your health, you should have a check up and the doctor will know exactly what is causing the coloration. Smoking has a lot to do with it also, but if you don’t smoke, you may have a serious problem which you need to be checked for. Good luck.

If you don’t smoke and it doesn’t depend on the use of nail polish you have to consider that yellow fingernails can mean there are problems with your liver, diabetes, respiratory disorders or problems with the lymphatic system. Yellow nails can occur many years before the disorder shows up.
You ought to see a doctor.
