Why did a professional teeth whitening result in light ivory teeth rather than a WHITER shade??

professional teeth whitening

Got my teeth professionally whitened at the dentist’s office…a product called Zoom. My teeth had a typical yellow stain to them that occurs over time due to coffee and other foods, but nothing horrible. When they “whitened” them, what I got was a lighter ivory color!! Granted, it looks better, but is NOT the whiter color I see on others who have this done…even those who use the drugstore kits! Did I get a bad job done on my teeth?? I am considering using the kit I bought to continue this process. I am disappointed!! Tell me your experience!!

Did you ask the dentist why your teeth only went up to that shade?
If your teeth are naturally that color, then they probably won’t be white.
But, I would ask the dentist about this. You spent alot of $$ for Zoom, and you deserve to have your questions answered.
