I've had it done several times because some take several treatments. I don't seem to be getting many new veins since I started walking alot and lost about 15 pounds. I just had unattractive veins---not painful or swollen veins. The injections aren't too painful. For me, the worst part is wearing the tight hose you have to wear (except when you sleep) for 5 or 6 days. And of course there is the expense---usually $300 for a session.
