hair vitamin

Hi

I’m looking for a vitamin supplement that’s good for hair growth and hair health, but also need a multi-vitamin with calcium in it because I’m female…and don’t drink dairy as i’m allergic.

Does such a vitamin exist or am I going to have to take multiple pills?

Currently, I’ve been taking one Viactiv multivitamin chews and one calcium chew a day.

Also, I am only 15 years old and a lot of vitamins and even herb pills say “not intended for persons under age 18″

Is that a big deal? Will it harm me to take those that say that?

i have heard biotin is good for hair…?

Yes, biotin is good for hair. I would suggest looking at Wal-mart. I’ve seen a supplement there specifically for hair, skin, and nails. I take a multivitamin, calcium citrate, and biotin.

Since you are 15 I would suggest for you to consult your doctor or a pharmacist when taking multivitamins. Almost all the over the counter multivitamins that are out there are pretty much the same. All Natural has a really good multivitamin. Also, I haven’t found a multivitamin yet that didn’t have calcium in it. So you are pretty safe one that does.

For you hair, I would suggest vitamin E. It has a lot of pros to it and great hair is one of them.

For the rest I would just check with your doc and see what he/she says. You are still pretty young and you may find what you want by altering your diet a little.

    Happy hunting!

What should I avoid while taking finasteride?
There are no restrictions on food, beverages, or activities during treatment with finasteride unless your doctor directs otherwise.
