u can apply cukumber juice twice daily

About twenty minutes, but if you are getting dark rings under your eyes frequently it can be indicitive of minor upper respitiory problems.

Dark circles under the eyes are usually a sign of a milk allergy (though they could be from other things as well and other allergies).
If you have them daily, you may want to cut out all milk sources for a couple months and see if they diminish.
Cucumber will help ease and relax your eyes, but if you have major dark circles its not going to help a whole lot. The slice should be there for 10-20 minutes, and you should see the difference right away. It will wear off throughout the day.
Those gel eye masks are also good, if you put it in the fridge every night and put it on your eyes in the morning for 10 minutes.

Dark eyes (shiners) are caused by lack of sleep, but they are also often caused by allergies. If you have allergies, try going to your doctor to get prescriptions for allergy eye drops and an antihistamine.
