I don't think it's unhealthy, but be careful. Tip: it should be done in stages if your face has got a lot of black heads, it will take 4-5 visits to the salon/parlor/institute to get them all. If they do it all at once your face will be incredibly irritated. The proper way is by doing it gradually. Find a respectable place to do it. After the first few times when they do the major cleanup of black heads, they usually do a cleanup every 2-3 months, depending on your skin type and your age.
