You shouldn’t match your lipstick to your dress, trust me. I would go with a nude shade since that is what is in right now. If you want to you can put some clear gloss over it, but never match your lipstick to your outfit!
I wouldn’t wear a bright pink lipstick with a bright pink dress…ouch…just wear something neutral, like beige or something brownish…other people’s eyes need relief…plus, then you won’t look like you’re trying too hard…
It will really depend on your skin tone, you should pick a pink based color that will compliment your skin tone and your dress. You dont have to be matchy matchy, you can also go for neutral color or nudes.
A light neutral color such as a light pink lipgloss or soft coffee color. I would definitely wear a gloss, not a heavy lipstick. If you wear a hot pink dress and tons of bright colored makeup, you’ll look clownish. Believe me, I’ve got the pictures from the 80’s to prove it!
GAH. When are people going to learn that you DO NOT match your makeup to your clothes!?!?!?!?!?!?! Just PLEASE don’t wear hot pink lipgloss- très tacky. Just wear sheer, light pink or a neutral.
I don’t think you have to match the color of your dress, but accentuate your lips with some shade of pink. Even if it’s a lighter hot pink with some sparkle to it. It will really bring out the color of your lips and your dress
something not too massive or overdone, nothing that blends in too much with the dress or takes away from the dress. i would wear a bit of a nude yet shimmering bronze lipstick laired with a creamy golden gloss by Yves St. Lauren or Covergirl. L’Oreal and Stila are possibilities.
Clear lip gloss for a shiny look would be best because the bright color of your dress is already flashy enough! to equalize it and balance colors out, u want to go easy on the color of your lips!

get a clear shimmery lipgoss. A lipstick or gloss with to much color might over power the dress

Honostly it wouldnt. I would recomend a lip gloss, like a clear color with a nice shine. it looks cute and last long. : ]

How about a lipstick that’s just one or 2 shades darker than ur natural lip color?
You don’t want to be bare lipped with such a powerful color.

you should wear a light pink or lip gloss.

A lightly tinted lipgloss with a little bit of shimmer

When your trying to find lipstick you dont look for what matches your hot pink dress. you find a shade that matches your skin tone and looks natural.
Now lipgloss on the other hand comes in many “flavors” i would get a pink shimery one. thats cute but mature.
