alwaysperfec237 asked:
How do I know what color lipstick is going to be great with my skin tone. I want something that just says shes hot. I cant really find a great lipcolor for me. I love mac. Should I just go in there and ask them? Will they know? I have dark brown hair and brown eyes. My skin tone is hard to figure out though. I think I have a pink undertone but I dont know. HELLLLLPPP

Nude and natural colors are in now… pick something that matches your skin time or is around the same color.

I would suggest trying a few different colors that match well with your skintone. For olive tones, choose orangy reds or red-browns. For light skin, reds and pinks. For tan skin, orangy pink. For dark, brown…tans. I hope I could help!

Try a shimmery gloss.

Go to one of the better department stores like Burdines or Macy’s and go to the make up counter. They can give you a make over and tell you exactly what lipstick, eye shadow and everything else goes good on you. They don’t charge anything for the consultation either.
I have a friend who does it for a living. She loves doing it too.

it usually depends on what your skin tone color is. for example you might want a light pink lipstick if your skin is pale and if your skin is tan you could get a bronze lipstick it make it kind of blend with your face but not look ridiculous.

it would be good to use light colors that are like gloss and do not wear dark lip stick

it depends on the time of day too. try a dark berry or wine color for going out at night. for the day, try a tinted gloss in a peach or nude.
p.s. try to stick with cooler colors too. it helps your teeth look whiter

I would pick something that matches my skin tone, if I were you. Just keep experimenting with different shades. You’ll find the right color, I promise. I hope my advice is helpful!
