dry hair

i have VERY VERY VERY dry hair…like horse hair almost…and VERY thick. it is also really wavy. what can i do to make my hair look more healthy and not as dry??? i dont want shiny (like dry shiny) but just not as dry. it looks very unhealthy and brittle now. will drinking a lot of water help??? i love the curl but also love it straight but i think the heat in the flat irons is causing my hair to break off. but i dont use it that much…
what product and ABOUT how much $ would it cost should i use to get more healthy looking and less dry hair??? THANX IN ADVANCE!!

hair spa will help to relax ur hair. and dont iron your hair too much coz ur hair will definitely be unhealthy

is your hair long? why not try a new hair style [shorter hair]
so u can grow some healthy hair ^^

Well conditioner will be your best friend. You also need to use a good leave in conditioner and get the occasional deep conditioning treatment all to add moisture to your hair and restore it. also don’t flat iron or blow dry your hair dry w/ nothing on it. You need to use a heat protectant like chi’s heat protecting spray. there other products would also be good you make your hair smooth when flat ironing. as far as wearing your hair wavy you should try some of Paul Mitchell’s products to make it healthy and shiny and lock in the style. Good luck. Hope I helped. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.

First off..they shinier your hair..it means the more healthy it is..not dry…

you can try vo5 hot oil..about 3 bucks for 3 tubes of it
    pantene pro v intense conditioner..about 4 bucks
the bright pink bottle of samy shampoo and conditioner ..about 7 each
for a flat iron..get one with ceramic plates rather then the metal..

Get clear moisture Redken. It is shampoo and conditioner, thats a start. For some reason your hair is lacking moisture. If you want to straighten your hair you can still do that, get some kind of a thermal spray that you can spray on right before you put the hot iron to the hair. It will help ptotect it. Redken is a professional product line but works great, Im telling you it will make a difference.

Check up AVON coz they have lot of advanced techniques for hair-styling and also scalp-moisturisers which could possibly help you best. See their new catalogue listed here and set up a date with a professional advisor or shop online at. it will also cost you less.

Try Dove moisture shampoo and conditioner

Try a leave in conditioner. Try not to use blow dryers and flat irons too often. The heat drys the hair out. Try to air dry your hair or use a cool setting on your blow dryer. You also can try Carol’s daughter hair milk. It’s for all hair types.
