Around the 1st of May I went in and had some laser treatments done on a few spider vein patches…..good news is spider veins are gone…bad news the marks from the laser are not and have not faded over the last couple of months….what is up with that? What do I do?

Could stress be the reason why I can’t seem to do improve my skin?

age reducing skin care

Okay, so I’ve had really bad skin for ages. Since like, fourth grade, it’s gotten worse and worse. I’m in 8th grade now, and in the past year and a half, I have washed my skin every night and every morning. I have used facial masks, and almost five different skin care products. If I reduce stress from my life, will that really improve my skin, or should I just try a new product?

Has anyone out there had Botox treatment for sweaty hands/hyperhidrosis?

botox treatment

I’m interested in trying it…I’m sick of my cold, sweaty hands and it’s a safer alternative to that surgery. But if you’ve had it done, let me know, I want to know what you think. It’s hard to get a straight answer with all the “pro-Botox” and greedy doctor sites. You never know if they’re exaggerating the results. Also, anyone who’s had a bad reaction to Botox…let me know!! Thanks!!

What is the best skincare brand for dry, sensitive skin?

sensitive skincare

I have dry, sensitive skin and I occasionally also suffer from dry, sore patches of dermatitis on my face (which usually gets worse when the weather is freezing cold!)
I wondered what would be a good cleanser and moisturiser to try. I really like dermalogica because it is so good for skin sensitive to too many additives, but in the winter I need something a little richer because my cheeks get so dry!

I’m not fussed on price range, I just wondered if anyone had a similar problem and could recommend a miracle cream!

Thanks! :)

Affordable Acne Scar Removal Treatments?

acne scar removal

I have horrible scars from acne, they take up most of the sides of my cheeks; it’s crazy. I have tried to cover them up with the Bare Minerals stuff, but it doesn’t really do the job. How much would a professional acne scar removal treatment cost? Which one is usually most effective? Is there just a one-time fix, because I don’t want to just dish out thousands of dollars each time. Thank you for any help!

Sclerotherapy or laser treatment (for spider veins)? Does it work? and is it affordable?

laser vein treatment

I am 21 years old and am 12 week pregnant ( dont think that matters, but I thought I’d mention it in case it did). I am constantly bothered by spider veins!! I am not over weight and I work out and eat healthly, I never lay out in the sun…yet for some reason unknown to me I have spider veins on my face and my arms!!! The ones on my face are kind of a purple-ish blue color and the ones on my arms are very slight…but are tiny red veins that are pretty obvious. My self asteem is like 0 right now…I am too young to have this problem…and they only get worse with age. I want to get laser therapy to get rid of them…or sclerotherapy…but I think they are too small and slight to acutally inject them with a needle. My questions are:Why do I have these annoying veins despite constant care? Is laser therapy affordable? Does it actaully work? and will my insurence likely cover it since they cause physical pain ( stinging and numbness)?( full coverage with blue cross); I am so frustrated!

Does anyone have any methods to remove acne scars? I have really bad scars on both my cheeks and I’m not able to afford any professional treatment. Any proven homemade methods or creams to apply to help in scars removal?
