What is an estimate of how much a professional teeth-whitening treatment costs (not take home treatment)?

OK, so my credit sucks thanks to my ex husband who was killed in Iraq before he could resolve his portion of our debts. I make too much for ACHSS (the local state inusrance plan which only covers extracting a tooth anyway) and don’t make enough for private insurance. About a year ago I was pregnant and it was high risk and was off work for quite a while until after I lost my son, and am still paycheck to paycheck to catch up. My teeth are in bad bad shape, I have one at the moment that needs either a root canal or extraction and have had many many extractions in the back teeth already. I really could use a little help to feel human again.
I took care of my portion of our debts long before he died, he did not see it as a priority.
Due to the fact someone sugessted that saying anything about my ex husband debt situation, it may be disrespectful to bring him up but I am still paying monthly on a bill for over 10000 in debt that was wracked up on a joint credit card that he used for a vacation and jewelry for his mistress.

Ok soo tomorrow I have to go to the orthadonist and last time I went he gave me a choice . .. .
1.I have 2 teeth taken out and no headgear or
either headgear and I keep my teeth. What should I choose?! My family and friends say keep the teeth and wear headgear. But I’ve heard horror stories about how much headgear hurts?
Which one would be best for me?

ok so i heard baking soda was good to whiten your teeth so ive been using it for the past week twice a day & got amazing reults already

but now i heard that using it too much can take the enamel of your teeth & i dont want that

so does anyone know if this is true & if so how often should i brush my teeth with it

also any other things anyone kno of to whiten teeth that is maybe better?

& no whitening toothpastes because from my personal experience them things are just rip offs!

Hi, i’m a 17 year old female and just about 2 years ago, my adult canines (eye teeth) grew on my gums right above my baby teeth leaving me with a big problem.
I honestly don’t wanna go through the hassle and expense of wearing braces for 2 years or more.
I’ve always wanted vaneers but this problem seems to ruin my chance of ever getting them…can’t I just pull out the adult canine teeth and place a vaneer or bonding material over my baby teeth instead?

Well i have had braces n for 1 year and 6 months. For most of the time i have been using whitening toothpaste. I cant really teell if it did anything or not. i read on websited that whitening toothpaste only removes stains from things like coffee and other staining foods. i have been taking much better care of my teeth since i got them on and i really don’t want stains. Questions asked by other people on this same topic got answers sayingthat whitening toothpaste is ok but other whitening products are not such as whitening strips. I don’t think i wil end up with stans under neath my bracketes or around them because i have taken good care of my teeth. My orthodontist didn’t tell me not to use whitening toothpaste eiether.

right now im using arm and hammer extra whitening
just started so i cant really say
i cant use white strips or any whitening thing either

my friends have white teeth but a couple of my friends who have had braces have literally solid white teeth while some just like like translucent white teeth..
what is your trick for white teeth? also i have a dentist somewhere in my family so anything like that i can have access to.. (i.e. floride and stuff)

I have horrible teeth (crooked, gap, discolored) but i am a single mom in college…

I feel like I’v been wasting my money buying listerine whitening thingy and the blue thingy..which is kinda a lot of money..
Cuz there supposed to whiten your teeth and keep them white.. and ok..they kinda do but like today..cuz I use it everyday..once a day..and yea I use it and today after I ate some fish and something my teeth got sooo yellow..like wth…and I’v been using it for a long time..
And here I was thinking about getting white strips..but now I dunno.will THEY work..or no…what should I do..I use a good toothpaste too arm and hammer extra whitening triple power..or something like that and it’s really good..
But wat can I do..? I just really want my teeth to be white …and stay white…
Should I keep buying the listerine stuff….Yea I’m gonna get these crest whitestrips classic ones..hope they help..and I don’t smoke..I drink coffee..but I always brush my teeth..
