fade creams

Can they help lighten skin too, or is it only bleach and other specific skin whitening creams that lighten skin?

It really depends on what kind of cream it is. Some work but youd have to use them on a regular basis to work and to maintain it (that coming from experience).

Glutathione an antioxidant helps lighten the skin. I dont know if its available here but fom what ive heard it not only is anantioxidant, it lightens the skin and improves your immune system

Fade creams help fade dark spots on your skin, like from acne scars or sun damage. I dont think skin lightening and fade creams are the same thing, but the best cream for skin discoloration is this stuff from Oil of Olay, its in a tube and I think its like spot treatment or something-that stuff works!

Yes. They can lighten skin but not very much and they can seriously damage your skin.

I doubt they lighten skin. I know they are used to lighten scars but not skin.

no cream in the world will lighten ur skin the way you want it .. the only thing you can do is stop tanning and stay out of the sun. You should try to embrace ur natural color that God gave you. Dark is HOT & extremley beautiful no matter what your society says! Good LuK

yes but they have the effect of bleaching with its attendant epidermal cancers and all. for a more effective and stressfree remedy, use full cream milk applied liberally on the afected area throughout the day, not washed. in no time at all the scar shold be faded

Yes, fade cream will lighten skin. The words fade, bleach, whitening, lightening are all synonymous when it come to the skin. You will notice that the salient ingredient in them all is something call hydroquinone–this is the best skin lighten ingredient out there to date. Its usually 2% to 3% in over the counter products. A dermatologist can prescribe higher percentage. However, there is concern in the medical field that at the higher % it might have some adverse implication. Sometimes you see it w/ another natural skin lightener–kojic acid and alpha hydroxy, which exfoliate the skin. This combination is great. You always want to limit over exposing your skin to the sun, this is especially true while using this product. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen.

I cannot see how creams could lighten your skin without damaging it. Please be careful.

What is the deal with skin lightening? love yourself, thats the way you were born, these creams can enter your bloodstream and make you very ill…ive read stories and they are not pleasant, besides half these companies who produce these skin creams are not kosher, so you dont know what the hell is going into the product!!
