Well, yes you need to be very comfortable with this process since you wear nearly nothing down there when they do it, but the results are well worth it.
As for the discomfort, everyone has their own pain threshold. Yes, it does hurt, BUT the more you have it done, the less regrowth and the less discomfort. Doing it regularly makes a difference.
I know very few people who can bring themselves to wax their own bikini area because of the discomfort, plus it is such an awkward area to get to. It’s easier to have someone else do it.
P.S. If you do get waxed, use TendSkin on your waxed area regularly to help prevent ingrown hairs (waxing is a big culprit of ingrown hairs).
Good Luck!

It’s not too young if you’re mature enough.
Walk in without showing you’re embarrassed, ask lots of questions and you’ll be fine.
And make sure you’ve let your hair grow out, so they can trim it down to the perfect waxing length.
It hurts like hell.

your waxer may want your parents permission before a bikini wax. but take an Advil before and remember to breathe out when she pulls you’ll be fine! as far as doing it at home, dont. bikini waxing is an acquired skill, and you could really bruise your self. there is an tendon and a vein that will really hurt if you pull wrong and you’ll get a big bruise.
after make sure not to get right into a hot tub or scrub that area, you’ll be a little tender and irritated
