as I have receding gums and one of my front teeth is really sensitive at the moment. I am getting married in 2 weeks and would like to have them professionally whitened (gel 4 2 weeks) but feel like it may harm my teeth and make them more sensitive and weak…is this true, will it damage my teeth?

My teeth are stained and they are yellow. I am currently using a teeth whitening toothpaste called Colgate whitening with micro buffers to polish the teeth. How long will it take to see results and what elses can I do to have white teeth? I dont wan’t to use any teeth whiteners/gels thingies, though. All answers will be greatfully appreaciated. i use colgate total whitening paste toothpaste with the ADA thing on the tube & i have braces.
will the toothpaste actually change the color of my teeth? cuz i don’t wanna have a brace pattern on my teeth when i get them removed.
but i read it will only take surface stains off. is that true?

i asked my ortho and he said it would be okay but he said if i didn’t wanna take the chance then to just use a regular one.

i wanna keep using that toothpaste cuz it seems effective & really good for your teeth.

soooo… do you think i should stop using it cuz it will change my teeth color? or it would be okay and my teeth will look fine? i use the toothpaste 2 times a day. in the morning and at night.

I’m Melungeon I turned out a lot darker than my family (people will think I’m adopted). My mom has a redder tone to her skin with dark hair and eyes (she’s Cherokee) and my dad has a reddish tone to his hair, blue eyes and pale skin (he’s Irish). Anyway I was born platinum blonde, blue eyed and very pale skin (Nicole Kidman had nothing on me). Now that I’m older, my hair turned darker (but still has a red tone like my dad’s), I still have blue eyes and my skin turned very dark (even though I’ve tried sunscreen and wearing a hoodie outside). It’s not like a tanned white person color. I’m darker than Alecia Keys but it’s basically the same base tone. Basically I don’t look anything like my family. When I tan, I get even darker (like Queen Latifah). How can I lighten my skin? People say my blue eyes and hair look weird against my skin tone. Do I sound weird looking?

Due to pollution & weakness also makes hair loss.

My teeth are already sensitive, so I am looking for a product that doesn’t make it worse, yet my teeth are whiter. I have braces right now so a dentist type treatment is not an option.
